At Scentbird, our hearts beat around delivering joy through scent and clean beauty. In addition to our direct-to-consumer subscription fragrance business, we also own Goodhabit, Deck of Scarlet, Confessions of a Rebel and Sanctuary.

We have grown from a team of 3 to nearly 140+ team members across 17 different time zones. We are New York-based, employing a remote-first work environment, because we believe talent isn't defined by local.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Manage the company's e-commerce websites;
• Act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform;
• Keep up to date with the business domain and work closely with business stakeholders;
• Ensure our solutions address the business needs of the business sponsors/leaders;
• Adhere to business requirements and provide on-time deliveries;
• Plan and execute various aspects of projects not only bound to but beyond Shopify boundaries;
• Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering pre-existing template.

What You'll Need to Have (required qualifications):

• 3-5 years of experience building web applications with Shopify;
• Experience with modern CSS styling, including Sass, flexbox, CSS Grids, and BEM;
• Experience with tooling such as webpack, gulp, vim, npm, yarn;
• Experience with version control systems like git;
• Capable of converting static design files into landing pages.
  

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including plugins;
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue;
• Experience applying ADA best practices;
• Preference of command-line interfaces over graphical;
• Experience sharing CSS between multiple projects;
• Experience working in open source community and contributing changes
