✨ Job Description
Main purpose of the position

Work as part of a team to continuously deliver on system features and improvements, in line with the organisational strategy and business objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Work in a self-managing, cross functional team, contributing to feature implementation and systems improvement in all aspects of the system
  • Work in close collaboration with team members and Product department on agreed roadmap
  • Take on own tasks or projects, completing required research and collaborating with team members to find suitable solutions
  • Take ownership of workload and deliver on tasks to agreed timelines
  • Make suitable improvements to the code base when possible
  • Provide clear comments on work, following company and industry-standard guidelines

Key objectives

  • Delivery of software to company expectations
  • Measured on successful delivery of software to timelines
  • Adhere to and promote high code-quality standards and practices across the team

Position requirements
  • Qualification in Computer Science field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive industry experience working in .NET and cloud based technologies
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and partake in healthy debate to find best solutions

    Damien has been a registered psychologist since 2003 and has a background in health administration, previously holding senior positions in the public health sector. Damien and his wife (also a psychologist) built a busy group private practice which is where he first discovered his passion for utilizing technology to make life easier for health practitioners.

    Damien is known publicly through his 10+ years of regular guest segments on ABC Radio, as a public speaker and corporate trainer, and as a contributor for various TV, radio and print outlets.

    Damien enjoys mountain biking, traveling, pretending to be a handyman, and exploring near and far with his wife and daughter.

    Paul is seasoned Technology Entrepreneur having previously started a computer support business (with $200 and his bedroom for an office) which he then developed into Australia's largest Tech Support company.

    Paul has made the BRW Fast 100 list three times 100 Fastest growing companies in Australia) and won the Victorian Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Telstra & Victorian Government Small Business of Year Award, The Age Best IT Business award, and the My Business Magazine Young Guns in Business Award. He has served as a member of the Federal Government Small Business Advisory Council for five years and has been featured in various publications.

    Paul enjoys cycling, high altitude mountaineering (he's previously summited Mt Everest), skiing and having adventures with his wife and two children.
