You will be joining as a Founding Product Designer. This is a key full-time and in-person position at Plato and an incredible opportunity to become an integral part of a high-growth startup during its early stages.

As a Founding Product Designer, you will take an active role in shaping the future of our initial product and help translate ideas into reality. You will work collaboratively in a team with product management and engineering and are a key part of the product discovery and delivery process.

As such, you will spend significant time on:

• Prototyping: creating prototypes to test in customer calls
  
• User research: partnering with our users to test concepts and synthesize feedback
  
• UI design: designing intuitive and joyful interfaces

The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who is not afraid to get hands-on and take the initiative in discovering new ways in which our users can improve their daily workflows.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of product design experience working on a wide field of problems in startup environments
  
• Proficient German language skills and empathy for our end user to build products they will love
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, complemented by a strong aptitude for problem-solvin

Hiring Process (2-4 weeks)

  Intro call with one of the founders to get to know each other and introduce Plato
• Step 2: Design Fit Interview
  One interview where you can present your portfolio and ideas
• Step 3: Personal fit
  One in-person interview with the other two founders
• Step 4: Reference checks
  Before sending the offer, we ask you to provide 2-3 contacts for us to do some reference checks
