We are looking for a strong Middle/Senior Full-stack Developer to join the Maroo team. We have an A-team of ex-Revolut and The Knot alumni, top investors from Europe and US, and now we are growing our team to get to a next milestone. It's really cool here, join in!

- You are a talented engineer with 3+ years of experience;
- You have previously worked in a fast-paced company or a startup;
- You have a strong sense of ownership.
Responsibilities:
- There is no legacy code — we are coding from scratch with the latest supported versions of libraries & frameworks;
- Our stack: Typescript, Node.js 14+, Nest.js, React 17+, Postgresql 13, Google Cloud;
- We rely on maximal reuse of already created code functionality (npm modules, external services like Auth0) and don't recreate a bicycle;
- There is no far-fetched coding rules, you can code in your favourite manner.

- Launched on January 2021, $1M pre-seed, backed by Y Combinator, growing our engineering team to complete the product development and prepare for Seed round
- We won't hide the fact that we work a lot, but there is always a weekend
- We do not have legacy code – everything is created from scratch, using the latest stable versions of libraries and frameworks
- We are focused on maximizing the reuse of already written functionality (npm packages, external services like Auth0) and do not attempt to reinvent the wheel
- We are focused on results, not on work 8 hours a day and following the formal rules of writing code / connecting modern technologies if they are not needed

Alexey Nikityuk
CEO & Founder
Alexey is a Founder & CEO at Maroo, the world's first wedding fintech startup. Before he spent 10 years in US, China, France, UK and Russia taking various finance roles in Procter & Gmable and General Electric. Most recently Alexey headed FP&A team in Revolut, where he set up financial planning function and was part of a core team raising $500m Series D round.
Anja Winikka
CMO & Co-founder
Anja is a Co-Founder and the CMO at Maroo, a Buy Now Pay Later solution for $95B US wedding market. Before, she spent 13 years in New York at The Knot Worldwide where she led the digital marketing and content teams of TheKnot.com and designed a series of education workshops and for wedding small business owners across the US. Anja has appeared and shared her insights and wedding industry expertise with The New York Times, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Washington Post, CNN, and more.
