✨ Job Description
As a part of the product engineering team, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of reliability management product experience. Working in a small, cross-functional engineering team, you will work closely with our customers, product, engineering, data science and design team to collaborate, influence, and impact products that our customers use every single day. You will have the opportunity to tackle product challenges across all spectrums, from spearheading new product verticals, developing and iterating end-to-end features, to being engineering's direct liaison and solutions expert to our customers.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in shipping and designing core backend services in Golang/Python.
• Experience with GraphQL, large-scale data systems, Kubernetes/GCP.
• Experience in building services such as
◦ Mission-critical, fault-tolerant orchestration workflows (control-plane).
◦ Streaming event processing systems that fuse/enrich events and metadata from multiple sources.
◦ Advanced ad-hoc/interactive analytics functionality on top of modern OLAP and time-series databases.
◦ Real-time time-series analytics systems to model the service behavior and detect anomalies.
• Experience in juggling between building host-based components to developing backend APIs.
• A detail-driven mindset that cares about code quality, testing, and customer-driven product experience.
• Nice-to-have: large-scale systems thinking, curiosity and interest in reliability engineering.

Prior to Nutanix, Harjot was co-founder & CEO of Netsil, a startup that pioneered a network-centric approach to application observability. At Netsil, Harjot led the overall business & technology vision, raised capital from top VCs, built a highly effective product & GTM team and led the company towards successful acquisition by Nutanix.

Specialties: Visionary products & category creation, early GTM, consumerization of the enterprise.

Jai has lead and managed product development, product & services portfolio management, marketing experience with a customer focus, hardware/software implementations, and staff training/mentoring. Core capabilities include technical product management, enterprise solutions architect, technical leadership, the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex technical architectures to management and non-technical staff, quality customer support at all levels, and solutions implementation.
