✨ Job Description
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of android operating systems, SDK, and development environments;
  • Have experience in using version control tools while managing conflict;
  • Automated testing, building, and packaging of Android's Artifacts experiences;
  • Have a solid understanding of Restful API interaction and JSON;
  • Have experience in optimizing, refactoring, and debugging, especially in the scope of layout development, customize themes, styles, attributes, and other resources;
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical skills and intellectual curiosity, responsible and trustworthy personality;
  • Familiar with Android Studio and Gradle;
  • Have strong knowledge of CI/CD and can containerize CI/CD pipelines and create reproducible builds from development to production;
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, memory management, the design pattern of MVVM, MVP;
  • At least one released application on Google play store with a large customer base;
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Job Expectations:
  • Develop and deploy applications on the Android platform using Java and Kotlin
  • Work with product owners and technical leaders to continually improve processes of development and product quality.
  • Work with other team members and mentor them to promote excellent customer experiences.
  • Propose the newest innovative tools, 3rd party frameworks, automation, and processes for the whole mobile team
  • Can cooperate with different teams across different countries by the English language
  • Analyze customer and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Android app software development (Java/Kotlin), E-commerce experience is a plus;
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling).

Education Requirements:
  • BS Computer Science or related fields required or equivalent experience;
  • Master degree preferred.
